Generation 6 Bradz have a perfect placement gel pad between the kneepad and the neoprene. Plus they have a magnetic patch on the outside of one of the kneepads. Generation 6 does not have the lower leg ankle area clip. 

Generation 5 does not have the gel pad or the magnetic patch. Generation 5 does have the clip located by the ankle.

Bradz come with two replaceable hard plastic knee caps. Leather replaceable caps can be ordered (Item 5071). The black Bradz items 5012 & 5014 have perfect placement gel pads that can be placed between the neoprene and the upper pad. Plus the Velcro patch on the outside of the leg is also magnetic. Dayglow kits are available for construction worker needs as well as truckers or tow drivers.  

The shell of the Bradz Self-Supporting Knee Pads is made of 1680D Ballistic Nylon which is a tough, durable, basketweave  fabric. Originally created to be anti-fragment resistant for the  military to prevent injuries from ballistic impact like flying debris or  shrapnel. Bradz knee pads are the best for work. They are the most comfortable knee pads as they sit on top of your foot and leave the entire back of  your knee wide open. These are excellent professional grade knee pads.  Bradz offer multi-layer padding with a dense foam topped with a layer of neoprene. They are leg specific with tool pouches on the outside of both legs. Once you put the Bradz self-supporting knee pads on, you will not need to take them off until the end of your day or work shift.  Bradz offer protection to the lower leg from the elements. They are made from a ballistic material that is very durable and if cut will not  continue to tear. Bradz are a deluxe ultra-comfort professional grade work related knee pads. They have clips at the ankle area for those that do heavy concrete work. The clips can simply be cut off (see images) if not necessary for your application. Most people will not require the clips. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS:

*For legs measuring 16 to 19 inches from the top of the foot to the top of the knee, buy: Bradz Item 5012 (regular)

*For legs measuring above 19 inches from the top of the foot to the top of the knee, buy: Bradz Item 5014 (Long)

*For legs measuring below 16 inches from the top of the foot to the top of the knee, buy: Bradz Item 5010 (small)

The above sizes apply to all corresponding color variations too.

All sizes come standard with calve area extenders for folks with larger calves.
