Install ready High Bay T5 Fixture with a 6' whip/cord, twist lock or straight blade plug (you choose) , Armor Coat lamps (Teflon coated), hang hooks, chain. These Armor Coated T5 lamps are UL and food grade safety listed. If you require safety or food grade fixtures to be in compliance, then these are what you need. Plus these fixtures are ideal for school gymnasiums since they come with the Armor Coated lamps which eliminate the need for a cover. The ballasts can be changed without removing the fixture, or the lamps. Most Gyms have floating floors which means that the lights are changed using a bucket lift which don't have much of room for working on the fixture. These fixtures will make working on the lights very easy, as you will not need to take them down to work on them. Our T5 fixtures are 12-1/2" wide with a 97% reflector as well as top vent louvers which will allow the lamps to run cool. The lamps will be more efficient when vented on the fixture top. All Armor Coat shatterproof safety coated lamps satisfy the criteria of having a non-shattering covering for prevention of glass in your product by containment within the safety coating material. The safety lamp must be intact, or the safety lamp must be replaced to be in compliance. In addition to containing all the glass, phosphors and mercury in case the lamp is accidentally dropped or broken Armor Coat Lamps are UL Recognized for safety and flammability and UL-EPH Certified for Environmental and Public Health. Plus Armor Coat Lamps are acceptable for incidental food contact in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. Typical Applications for Armor Coat safety coated lamps: Food Supermarket, processing areas, dairies, manufacturing areas, hospitals, bakeries, schools, gymnasiums, cafeterias, restaurants, poultry plants, and slaughter houses. These fixtures come in either 4 or 6 Lamp versions. We would recommend using a grill in a gymnasium. Add $10 to the cost for a grill. Add $25 to the cost for a fixture mounted occupancy sensor. Add $30.00 to the cost above for the six lamp version. You simply need to plug these in.
